Our start in soil restoration
Bumi Baru's first restoration was done on a severely degraded plot of land in Central Kalimantan in 2023. Supported by Wavemaker Ventures, Bumi Baru partnered with agronomists to pioneer a method that uses enhanced rock weathering to rapidly improve soil health.
In 2025, Bumi Baru received its first harvest from the site, and achieved a 400% uplift in land valuation. The approach used in Central Kalimantan is now the foundation of our core soil restoration service.
